Session 3, Kerry Wimpey: The “Good Life”

What does the “Good Life” actually look like when we consider Jesus’ instruction to lose our life in order to find it? Kerry will share from Isaiah 55 as well as from her own story of how she went from chasing the American Dream to responding to the call of Christ to sell everything and live the life He was calling her to live.

Kerry is wife to Chris, mom to three, Women’s Ministry Director for the Atlantic provinces with the Canadian National Baptist Convention, and she loves to teach God’s Word. She grew up in Pumpkintown, South Carolina. However, God called her husband into full-time missions in 2018, and they uprooted and moved to Cape Breton where they serve their community with the love of Jesus Christ. Kerry loves everything pumpkin spice! You can find her curled up in a blanket with a warm cup of coffee. She is a student of the Word, and her passion is to teach and disciple women on how to cultivate a life-giving relationship with God through His Word, Jesus Christ. Learning the difference between religion and a relationship with God through Jesus changed her life! She loves to be productive but has also learned to leave margin in her life for the unexpected, for rest, and for fun with family and friends. She lives life on a mission and says Sunday naps are a must.
